Photography F.A.Q.'s

+ When will I receive my photos?

Photos are delivered within 24 to 36 hours after they are taken.

+ Can I get my photos the same day?

Yes. A rush service is available for a $50 fee and should be scheduled in advance so we can make arrangements for the photographer to send your photos for processing in between appointments.

+ How long will the photo shoot take?

We generally allot 1 hour for taking photos on site. Larger homes can take 1.5 to 2 hours.

+ How will I receive my photos?

An e-mail will be delivered to you that will contain 2 links. The first allows you to view the slideshow, which will become the “virtual tour” once you send us an MLS number. The 2nd link is to download the JPG’s as a zipped/compressed file. Make sure you follow instructions to “download” and not “save”. Once the zip file has been downloaded, you will need to extract the files. This is usually accomplished by double clicking on the zip file or right-clicking and selecting “extract” or “unzip” but each computer is different. If you have any issues accessing your jpg’s, let us know and we will help walk you through it or can send them a different way.

+ Can I cancel or postpone my appointment?

Yes. We understand the delays inherent in preparing a home for sale and will try to accommodate your changes as best we can. There is no charge for cancellations or postponements if we are provided a minimum of 24 hours notice. A $75 fee will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given and a $125 fee is charged if the photographer is en route or has arrived to the appointment.

+ Who owns the rights to the photos?

DS Creative Group owns all rights to the photos and/or videos and you are paying to license them to market the property for the life of your listing. Photos and/or videos cannot be transferred to another agent if your listing is withdrawn or expired. Common areas and general neighborhood photos cannot be used for future listings but can be licensed for each new listing from DS Creative Group for a nominal fee.

+ You’re booked up! How can I get an appointment?

During many times of the year, our schedule is full 1 or 2 weeks out. The best way to insure we get to your listing more quickly is to put the home on a combo lock and forego a “scheduled” appointment whenever possible. This will provide us with the flexibility of heading to your listing when we get a last-minute cancellation. If you are put on our “floating appointment” list, we will guarantee arrival within a specified time period, which will be determined upon scheduling.
